Team
SwissCardIA is built on interdisciplinary collaboration, bringing together expertise in clinical cardiology, cardiovascular research and data science within a structured organisational framework.
The project is governed through an executive committee, an interdisciplinary scientific consortium and operational teams responsible for conducting the study. The executive committee defines the scientific direction of the project and oversees its progress, working closely with the clinical teams responsible for data collection and with the research groups involved in the different scientific components of the study. The scientific consortium brings together clinicians and scientists from a broad range of disciplines. Their expertise supports the implementation of the study and contributes to the analysis and interpretation of its results.
A Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) panel also contributes to the project by bringing the perspectives of participants and members of the general public into the study and helping ensure that its communication and activities remain relevant and accessible.
This governance structure is complemented by an independent advisory committee, which provides external expertise and contributes to maintaining the scientific quality and integrity of the project.
